Terms of Use

Important: These terms govern access to ShopKhojo. By using the platform, you agree to these terms and applicable Indian law.

1. Platform role

ShopKhojo is primarily a discovery and technology platform through which independent sellers may publish shop and product information and users may discover and contact them. Unless expressly stated on a specific transaction page, ShopKhojo is not the seller, manufacturer, importer, distributor or owner of seller-listed goods and does not itself conclude the buyer-seller sale.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Users must provide accurate information and use the platform only for lawful purposes. Sellers are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts. ShopKhojo may request reasonable identity, business, tax, licence or other compliance information where necessary.

3. Seller listings and consumer information

Sellers must ensure descriptions, images, prices, stock, origin, specifications and claims are accurate and not misleading. Where applicable, sellers must provide legally required information relating to invoice, tax, country of origin, return, refund, exchange, warranty/guarantee, delivery, best-before/use-before and other mandatory disclosures. ShopKhojo may remove, restrict or seek correction of incomplete, deceptive, unsafe or unlawful listings.

4. Transactions and payments

Unless ShopKhojo expressly provides checkout/payment for a particular transaction, payment and fulfilment occur directly between buyer and seller. Buyers should verify the seller, final price, product condition, invoice, warranty, return/refund terms and delivery terms before paying. No user may request or disclose OTPs, UPI PINs, card PINs or passwords through the platform.

5. Prohibited conduct

Users must not post illegal, counterfeit, stolen, infringing, obscene, deceptive, unsafe or prohibited goods/content; impersonate others; manipulate platform features; introduce malware; scrape or access the service unlawfully; or use ShopKhojo to facilitate fraud or violation of law.

6. Intellectual property

Sellers must have the rights required to upload photographs, trademarks, descriptions and other content. By uploading content, the seller permits ShopKhojo to host, reproduce and display it as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the listing/platform. Rights in third-party marks remain with their respective owners.

7. Complaints, takedown and enforcement

ShopKhojo may investigate reports, preserve relevant records where legally required, remove or disable content, restrict accounts and cooperate with lawful orders from competent authorities. Complaints should be submitted through the Grievance page with sufficient details and supporting material.

8. Availability and limitation

The platform is provided subject to availability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Any limitation or disclaimer is subject to mandatory consumer protection, data protection and other statutory rights.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated to reflect legal, security or service changes. Material changes should be communicated where required. These terms are governed by applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer forum rights available under law.

National Consumer Helpline (Government of India)

If a consumer needs independent consumer-grievance assistance, the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, can be contacted at 1915 or 1800-11-4000 (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, except national holidays). Consumers may also use WhatsApp/SMS at 8800001915 or register through the official NCH portal: consumerhelpline.gov.in. NCH is a Government of India pre-litigation consumer grievance mechanism and is independent of ShopKhojo. Approaching NCH does not remove any other remedy available under applicable law.
